ABOUT THE AUTHOR:                                       

My name is Anthony Michael Maggio, and I authored, designed, and copyrighted the MUMMY‘S MESSAGE.   I have been an educator for 36 years.  I earned both my bachelors and masters degrees in education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Supervision from the University of Pittsburgh.   I was a middle school and high school social studies teacher for 11 years, a presenter at state and national conferences on effective teaching strategies,  author of a body of research titled Developing a Documentation Model For Staff Development Programs In Schools,  and a school district mentor and trainer for the Madeline Hunter Mastery Teaching Model.  As a high school counselor for my last 25 years as an educator, I continued to be involved with effective teaching methods as coordinator and trainer of a national “kids helping kids” program titled, Natural Helpers, in the Upper St. Clair School District in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania.
